If the class is at 7pm Los Angeles in the U.S., then what time is it where I live?

  • 10 PM Thursday, New York

  • 10 PM Thursday, Venezuela

  • 11 PM Thursday, Brazil

  • 12 Noon Friday, Korea

  • 10 AM Friday, Singapore

  • 9 AM Friday, Jakarta

  • 5:00 AM Friday, Ethiopia

  • 3:00 AM Friday, Nigeria

We know some of these times might be early for you, so set your alarm and come ready with a good cup of coffee!

Is there a way I can check the time in my city if it is not listed above?

Yes. We have found this website to be quite helpful in checking on world time zones. Simply input Los Angeles at 7pm Thursday and then input your city. Refresh the page and the time in your city will be presented for you.

Where do I find the link to join the Zoom Webinar?

The link to join the class via Zoom Webinar is in one of three places for easy reference. You will find it in your initial confirmation email you received upon registration. You will also find it in both your 1-day reminder email and your 1-hour reminder email. These emails are all sent for all 20 classes to the email you provided when you registered.

At the time of class the link to join doesn’t work for me; what do I do?

We have students joining from around the world so you shouldn’t have trouble with the Zoom link. But if you do, then try checking your internet service and rebooting your laptop. You can also join via your mobile phone via the internet service on your mobile with data roaming turned on.

I’ve already missed several classes; is it still OK for me to join?

Yes - absolutely! We welcome students at any time.

Will I need to be on a video camera during class?

No. In fact, all classes are via Zoom Webinar (not Zoom Meeting) so no one other than the Instructor is on video.

Is there a way I can meet some of the other students who join classes?

Yep! You can stay for our “After Hours Session” which we hold after all weekly classes. You can also meet and ask questions of our instructor at that time.

Is there somewhere I can learn a bit more about your series of classes?

Yep, absolutely! Check out our website at www.studioscriptura.com

Why are you guys doing this?

We are some people who love the Lord Jesus Christ and are committed to the authority of Scripture. We work full-time in secular jobs but have structured these classes to glorify God and follow His command: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.” Matthew 28:19-20
