November 27th is the first Sunday of Advent and denotes the season that those of the Christian faith prepare for the coming of Christ. The Lectionary provides this reading from Romans: “Let us walk properly”. Christ’s arrival on Christmas is His Advent; the adventure is ours as we seek to step out of old ways to walk properly and in new directions with Him on the paths of life’s adventure.
