Ash Wednesday is observed by Christians around the world as the start of the 40 day Lenten season which concludes with the celebration of Easter. The Lenten period recognizes Jesus’ 40 days of temptation in the wilderness - when those 40 days ended Jesus came to Capernaum and began preaching: “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” Matthew 4:17
Why not take a few moments and step away from the busyness of it all, acknowledge your sin, repent of it, and turn to Him who knew no sin for forgiveness?
